Puncture repair in Nottingham
A puncture doesn’t always mean a new tyre, but not every puncture can be repaired safely. Call AA1 and describe what has happened. The tyre has to be inspected before anyone can say whether a repair is appropriate.

- A tyre keeps losing pressure and you suspect a slow puncture.

What to tell us when you call
- Where the vehicle is and whether the tyre is completely flat.
- Vehicle make, model and registration.
- Where on the tyre you can see the damage, if you can see it. Tread, shoulder and sidewall matter.
- Whether the vehicle has been driven on the flat tyre.
- Whether you have a locking wheel nut key.
Good to know
- Whether a repair is possible depends on the tyre once it has been inspected. Factors include the position and size of the damage, and whether the tyre was driven while flat.
- Damage to the sidewall, or large cuts, generally can’t be repaired safely. In those cases the tyre has to be replaced.
- We’ll tell you what we find and what we recommend before any work is carried out. Pricing is confirmed on the phone.

FAQs
Puncture repair questions
Can every puncture be repaired?
No. It depends on where the damage is, how big it is and the condition of the tyre. The tyre has to be inspected first. If it can’t be repaired safely, we’ll say so.
Should I keep driving on a slow puncture?
It’s best not to drive further than you have to on a tyre that is losing pressure, as driving on it can cause further damage. Call us and we’ll talk through what to do.
How are price and availability confirmed?
On the phone. Prices depend on the work, the tyre and your location, so we don’t publish them on this website. We’ll confirm the price and availability before anything is arranged.
